It all began with my interest in beekeeping starting over 30 years ago visiting the inspirational Bee Life centres in both Devon and Cornwall. This sparked a lifelong fascination with Bees and nature.

I keep an allotment producing home grown foods with my interest sparked as a child working on my dad’s allotment and visiting my grandfather’s and Uncles plots back in Derbyshire. This has also given me a strong connection with nature and growing my own natural organic produce.

Having the money, time and space was never right for bee keeping so my interest was on hold and remained on my to do list.  

​

Over the last few years studying and keeping bees this interest has now been fully realised triggering a passion for keeping bees and a desire to produce products from bee related and natural ingredients.

​

All things now connected and I set out on a journey to connect Bee keeping, allotment gardening and making my own products. I now have a thriving apiary on my allotment and out apiary being built.

​

Keeping bees has given rise to bee products producing primarily Honey, wax and Propolis and a desire to make the most out of what is produced.

​

Having a shared interest in crafts and making our own I have set out in a partnership my wife and our family to produce handmade soaps, natural creams, natural cold process soaps,  pet creams, pet soaps, crafts and other bee products.

​

These products are focused on the highest quality ingredients sourced from our own Honeybees and home grown produce combined with natural ingredients and essential oils to produce handmade high quality, Locally sourced ethically sourced, competitively priced health and skin care products for people and their pets.

You can rest assured that all the products produced by Morecambe Bay Bee are made by a family team right here in Morecambe Bay and our Bee ingredients are sourced from our own Apiary right here in Lancashire. We strive to produce excellent products that we are sure our customers will love them as much as we do and will be back for more.

We make our products in small batches and strive for the best possible quality products. Our business follows stringent Quality control methods, and this is inherent with our Family team having between us experience with over 25 years in Quality Assurance, 30 years in customer service and dealing with the public.

All our creams and soaps for human skin care are registered and approved for sale in the UK with a Cosmetic Product Safety Report.
